Leading in Uncertain Times – What Works When Nothing Works
It was wonderful to welcome so many of our friends and colleagues to Wrexham Football Club on 17th October to explore together the challenge of leading in uncertain times. A special thank you to our speakers for sharing their reflections and experiences around leading in uncertainty. We heard from:
Ian Bancroft, CEO, Wrexham County Borough Council
Professor Jo Pedan, Consultant in Public Health, World Health Organisation
Sonia Bassey MBE, Chair, Liverpool CVS, Mandela8 and Africa Oye
Joe Rafferty, CEO, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust
Andy Dunbobbin, North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner
World Café Conversations
We were delighted to be joined by The Leadership Centre’s Clare Spencer who hosted a world café conversation around cultural competency. Other themes explored with members of the Do-Well band included purpose, civility, coaching, self compassion and inclusive wellbeing.
These are all areas that we were keen to understand whether you or your organisation would be interested in working with us on and what this might look like. We’ll be sharing a note with you in the next few weeks that summarises what we heard in the world café conversations and outlining how this will inform our work going forward.
