The work of the Board has a key contribution to effective leadership in organisations.

 

The Board sets the tone for the organisation and has the important job of ensuring that the organisation has a clear purpose, stays true to that and aligns its strategy to the achievement of that purpose. It sounds simple although is actually a very difficult role to fulfil.

 

Our work with organisations facilitates those discussions to help articulate and develop the elements required for good governance. We work to help build relationships among the Board as trust and effective relationships are essential and to clarify roles and responsibilities among non-executives and executives.

 

We can also support Boards in facilitating a review of strategic plans and direction, provide independent support for Board appraisals or recruitment, and the development of governance frameworks.
